A 2 by 2 metre foil-faced foam mat that goes under your tent, sleeping mat or camp furniture. The closed-cell foam blocks damp rising from the ground and the foil facing reflects radiant heat back rather than letting it pass through.
Best for
Laying under a tent floor or sleeping mat on damp ground, and as a picnic or gear-sorting surface at camp.
Not ideal for
Sleeping on directly. At 8 mm this is a moisture barrier rather than an insulated mat, so it works alongside a sleeping pad rather than in place of one.
