The CWM400 carries 400 g of 650 fill power white duck down at 790 g total, and packs to 25 × ø11.5 cm. Unzip it fully and it lies flat as a down blanket, or join it to a second bag to make a double. A mesh storage sack is included alongside the stuff sack, because down loses loft permanently if it is stored compressed.
Best for
Three-season hiking and backpacking where weight and packed size decide what goes in the pack.
Not ideal for
Deep winter, and sustained wet conditions where a synthetic bag keeps insulating once damp. For colder nights the CW400 carries the same fill weight at a higher fill power.
