The R3.5 Ultralight Double Sleeping Pad gives two people a single 120 cm sleeping surface with no gap down the middle, and packs down to 26 × 12 cm. At 1,180 g it works out to under 600 g each, which is lighter than carrying two separate pads.
Best for
Couples hiking or camping together in three-season conditions, where one shared pad saves weight and space over two singles.
Not ideal for
Winter nights, where the R5.8 or R8.8 give more ground insulation, or solo trips where a single pad is the lighter choice.
