The Universal Cotton Stretcher Mattress is a padded topper for a camp stretcher. A stretcher lifts you off the ground but lets air move freely underneath, which is why a cot on its own often sleeps colder than expected. This adds 350 gsm of synthetic fill between you and the fabric, and buckles hold it in place so it does not shift in the night.
Best for
Anyone sleeping on a camp stretcher who finds it cold underneath or too firm on the shoulders and hips.
Not ideal for
Use directly on the ground. This is a topper, not a sleeping pad, and it offers no insulation against cold earth on its own.
