A 2.4 m support pole for lifting a tarp, awning or tent canopy off the ground. Galvanised steel takes far more side load than an aluminium pole of the same diameter, which is what you want when a tarp catches wind.
Best for
Propping tarps, awnings and canopy extensions at camp where the pole is carried in a vehicle rather than on your back.
Not ideal for
Replacing a broken tent pole. Tent poles are curved, segmented and specific to each model, so a straight pole will not substitute. This is also too heavy to carry on foot.
