The ST08 is a pure carbon fiber trekking pole built around a Z-fold system that collapses to as little as 36 cm — significantly more compact than a standard telescopic pole. It is available in three fixed lengths to suit different user heights, and at 150–170 g per pole it remains well within the ultralight category.
Best for
Ultralight hikers and trail runners who need a pole that packs down as small as possible for easy storage in or on a running vest or backpack.
Not ideal for
Hikers who prefer a continuously adjustable pole length, as the ST08 comes in fixed sizes rather than an adjustable range.
