A 60 litre pack sized for three to five nights out. Two things decide whether a load carries well: a back panel you can set to your own torso length, adjustable here between 45 and 51 cm, and a hip belt that pivots independently as you walk rather than fighting your stride on uneven ground.
Best for
Three to five night hikes carrying a tent, sleeping system, clothing and food. In winter, when kit is bulkier, expect closer to three nights from the same volume.
Not ideal for
Day walks, where 55 litres is more pack than you need, and trips beyond five nights where the 70 + 5L carries the extra food and fuel.

Finding your torso length
Torso length is not the same as your height. Feel for the bony bump at the base of your neck where it meets your shoulders, then place your hands on your hips with thumbs pointing back until they meet at the top of your hip bones. Measure along your spine between those two points.
Have someone else measure for you if you can. Getting the torso length right does more for how a pack carries than anything else you can adjust.

I am thoroughly impressed by this backpack. Getting back into overnight hiking after many years meant I needed a new pack. This Naturehike pack is incredible value and the features/comfort level meant I could dive right in without compromise. Bag was excellent. Used it for the Otter 5 day hike. It was tight to fit everything in on day one, but as we progressed and used our supplies, it became a treat to carry. I think in hind sight the 65 would be a better option for most if you do a winter hike and carry all your own food, drinks and snacks. Cannot fault the quality and service from Naturehike.

Awesome backpack and great quality I bought this backpack last minute for my daughter to do a 2 day hike in the berg and have been very impressed with the quality and weight of the bag. It came back filthy after two nights camping in the caves but has cleaned up like new after a good wash.
Incredible product I just walked 95 km on the Camino in portugal with this bag - i have a neck problem too ! I cannot say enough great things- its an excellent product!!!! Ideal for a 5 day hike- extremely durable and if you alter the straps correctly you remove alot of the weight off your back!
Excellent My husband and I just returned from walking the Portuguese Camino. Hubby used the 55+5L and myself the 45L. On the 12 days hike over 330km we never encountered any problems with our backpacks. Good support and good quality. I had a back operation a few years ago and experience no problems carrying the pack for the entire trip.

Review The purchasing experience was great and so was the timely delivery. However, in terms of matching the bag to the picture advertised, I think there is some wanting. The bag looks rather scruffy and worn out. Particularly the front of the bag. Additionally, I would recommend adding more pictures to your online catalogue as I would have preferred to have viewed the inside of the bag before purchasing.
