At 570 g and packing to 26 × ø12 cm, the CW295 is the lightest bag in the range. Down insulation and a 15D nylon shell are what get it there. It ships with a mesh storage sack as well as a stuff sack, because down loses loft permanently if it is kept compressed between trips.
Best for
Summer and shoulder-season backpacking where weight and packed size decide what goes in the pack.
Not ideal for
Cold nights, and sustained wet conditions where a synthetic bag keeps insulating once damp. The 15D shell is also lighter than most, so it warrants more care around rough ground and sparks.
