At 680 g in size M, the LW180 is light enough for bike touring, multi-day hiking or paddling trips where weight and pack space are both accounted for. It carries a full EN rating rather than a single figure, so you can compare it properly against other bags: comfortable at 15 °C, with a lower limit of 8 °C.
Best for
Spring and summer nights in warmer parts of the country, and any trip where the bag has to be carried rather than driven.
Not ideal for
Winter or high-altitude nights. At a comfort rating of 15 °C this is a warm-weather bag, so a down or higher-rated synthetic bag suits colder conditions.

Does what it says - rolls up small, lightweight and perfect for summer. Note that it is poly, not cotton as per description, but that is pretty standard for a sleeping bag. Overall a great investment, just make sure you pick the right size for you, measurements are accurate

Light and folds up small with the compression straps on its bag. Goodnfor summer weather, or add an inner to keep warmer.

This sleeping bag is perfect for summer camping. The advantage is the small size it rolls up in and the fact that it is really light weight. I am sure that it will do well in Autumn and Spring as well.

Excellent sleeping bag! Lightweight, super soft, and most importantly, easy to return to its carry bag. I just used it for an overnight hiking trip and it worked great! Highly recommend.

The weight of the bag is phenomenal. I usually carry a sleeping bag almost twice the weight. And I must say I used it on the Fanie Botha hike. First day was cold and wet and I slept very peacefully without feeling cold. I highly recommend this bag. For the price it is extremely good value for money. And the added bonus is that it is light to carry.

A very good choice. Used it with my inner liner because I needed a much lighter option than my conventional sleeping bag. Comfortable and I like the full zipper option.

I recently used this sleeping bag on the Outeniqua hike and it worked wonderfully. So light and easy to carry and yet warm enough for a cosy sleep.

Used this recently for the Amatola trail, I generally don't get cold so don't need a warm sleeping bag, slept very comfortably despite the overnight temperature being between 10&12 degrees, it is gutted so pretty warm anyway. Incredibly light which meant I was able to carry more luxuries in terms of food.

My husband and I bought these sleeping bags for our Camino walk in Spain. We're using them in hostels, in October, and they are perfect. They pack up really small (you can compress them to a size MUCH smaller than a rugby ball) and are warm and comfortable for indoor use. I would recommend them 100% for anyone looking for a sleeping bag to take on a Camino trek in Spain. Btw - when it gets really cold, many hostels give blankets too. Haven't needed to use those yet (currently late October).

Misleading Advertising The advertised product is labelled as an ultra light cotton sleeping bag. The specs also describe the filling as a silk like cotton yet on the bag when it arrived…the filling is 100% polyester.
Super compact! We're preparing for a few multi-day hikes and needed a lightweight and compact sleeping bag - and this one hit the brief completely! It's also super easy to fold up again (unlike so many other sleeping bags I've had in the past which are a nightmare to get back into their bags). I used this in Autumn along Storms River and it mostly kept us warm - but may need extra lining/warmth for chilly nights.
Light and warm The bag itself is light, and I love how compact it is when in the bag. I've been sleeping under it since I bought it, to try it out for an upcoming multiday hike, and so far I'm super happy with my purchase. This will keep you warm in autumn as well.
Light and as per rating Lovely for hiking, but only for summer, I doubled up with a fleece blanket and we went down to about 10 degrees in the mountains.
